Our goal was to provide extensive recommendations while setting Guides apart from other articles on the site.
Initial template development raised concerns about page length and text asymmetry due to varying recommendation lengths.
The page length also lead to the issue of users getting lost on the page or having to scroll for a while to get to content they desired.
To address these issues, we introduced features like chapter links and truncated text.
These enhancements improved navigation and readability, and enabled writers to offer more detailed recommendations for each destination.
We also introduced a new hero design to showcase impactful images of the featured locations and to set it apart from other articles on the site.
